IMPORTANT NOTICE (7/29)
The location of the workshop has shifted due to the Torrey Pines High School campus being unavailable. The new location will be at the Carmel Valley Recreation Center (3777 Townsgate Drive San Diego, CA 92130).
This move means that we will need ALL participants to sign a NEW waiver. The link is attached below and will be sent out later as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for attending the Speech and Debate Summer Workshop.

SUMMER WORKSHOP
With over 400 participants in the last five years, the Torrey Pines Speech & Debate team prides ourselves in our annual week-long summer camp bringing the art of speech and debate to life in the bright minds of the younger generations. As current debaters who are leaders in their respective events, our highly qualified instructors will be sure to make your summer experience notable.
This camp is open to all students rising to 5th grade or up, with no previous experience necessary. We highly encourage rising freshmen and high schoolers to attend camp and spend a summer with TPSD!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The workshop is broken up into three days of event rotations, and two days of a focus events. Event rotations will allow the students to experience all types and forms of speech and debate. The focus event days are more in-depth days of the student's choice. Captains from each event on the TPSD team will be teaching the basics of each event and going more in-depth as the camp progresses.

Supplies: Please provide your children with a notebook or paper and something to write with. Water or a snack is also recommended!
HOW TO REGISTER:
As a participant of our institution, you will also be required to fill out the Workshop Waiver and the Photography Publication Form for your child in order to be a part of the camp.

Please print and fill it out, and include it as a scanned PDF attachment onto the registration google form.
The school foundation requires this, so unfortunately we cannot allow students to participate until we have the required forms on file.
